2 cloves garlic, minced
1 purple onion, diced (alternate, green onion, finely chopped) 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger root 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil and/or cilantro 2 Serrano Chile peppers, minced 1/4 cup fresh lime juice pinch salt dash cayenne pepper, optional garnish with cilantro sprig
serve over black bean tostada, wild salmon, cod, or bass
